English for Housewives is an interactive package of a book and 5 CDs designed to help housewives to learn English language. This material is primarily developed as audio CDs, and this book is a supplementary of these CDs. We have proposed this language learning course considering the level of English and academic background of Nepali housewives. We have chosen oral approach because many housewives do not want to go through lengthy texts or confusing grammatical structures to learn English as they are busy throughout the day due to family obligations. Now, even a typical Nepali housewife can make use of this audio package and will be able to learn English while performing household jobs simultaneously.

There are twenty lessons in this oral course, and each lesson is divided into three sections: Examples, Models and Suggested Activities. You do not need to read, just listen to given language functions daily and practice yourself at the same time. You are suggested to repeat the sentences on your own in gaps, which are annotated in the CDs as well as in the book.
